Wii U price cut
Nintendo has announced that the Wii U will be getting a price cut starting September 20th. The deluxe model, which comes with Nintendo Land and 32 GB of storage, will be dropped by $50 to $299.99 or the price of the Wii U basic model, which has no Nintendo Land and 8 GB of storage, and the basic model will be phased out.

Nintendo has announced the 2DS (picture above), which will be released on October 12th for $129.99, compared to $169.99 for the 3DS and $199.99 for the 3DS XL. The 2DS is a 3DS but as you can probably figure out from the name, it doesn't support stereoscopic 3d.

PS Vita and memory card prices reduced
The PS Vita has gotten a price cut in Japan several months ago and now the same can be said for North America and Europe. The new price for the systems will be $199/€199 and the new memory card prices will be dropping to $79.99 for the 32GB, $39.99 for the 16GB, $19.99 for the 8GB and $14.99 for the 4GB. Personally, I still think the memory card prices are a little steep because if you look around online, there are several 32GB SDHC cards that are as cheap as or cheaper than the 16GB Vita memory card and I actually found a 64GB SDHC that was $15 cheaper than the 32GB vita card. After the price cut in Japan the Vita started selling better there so we'll see what happens. Last time I checked the Vita was still getting a lot of ports/re-makes.
